GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  Reworked, broken unfluted base of granular greenish stone.

SIZE:  Basal Width - 2.5 cm.
            Length - 3.25 cm.

LITHIC MATERIAL:  Granular greenish stone. Origin unknown at this time.

PROVENIENCE:  Recovered from the surface of a plowed field near the Gnagey, Petenbrink, Kinsinger and Peck sites in Meyersdale, Pennsyvania area.

COLLECTOR:  W. Frederick veigh

REMARKS:  This reworked Paleo type base displays vertical edge grinding the full length of the vertical edges. Apparently this broken spear point was reworked by a different culture at a later time and utilized for some other purpose.
