GENERAL DESCRIPTION: A small, very well and skillfully produced fluted point.

basal grinding as well as grinding on beth vertical edges for a length of
1.9 cm.
LITHIC MATERIAL: Light gray-tan flint, possibly "Debert" or Flint Ridge in origin.
LOCATION: Recovered from the surface of a plowed field in the Salisbury area of Somerset County. U.S.G.S. map, 7.5', Salisbury quadrant, at approximately 1900 feet.

COMMENTS: This small fluted point is beautifully executed as is typical of this era. It desplays ground surfaces on both vertical edges as well as its entire base. This artifact is the smallest "Paleo-Indian" point recovered in the area.
